Summers Sports is a full service elite training facility in Akron, OH. With 5 full size cages and an infield with 90’ base capability, we are the only training facility in Akron where any team or individual can train like it’s a game. We compliment our cages and field with an 800 sf weight room to maximize training for our athletes.
“I built this place to put Northeast Ohio baseball and softball athletes on the map. When people think of sports in Northeast Ohio, they think of Hoban or Massillon football, or Lebron James. There are hundreds of great baseball and softball players here, who never get any recognition. Our goal is to train everyone to their maximum potential and prepare them both physically and mentally for the next step. We have top tier trainers, with many years of professional and D1 college experience. We offer true developmental programs to teach kids how to play, and how to succeed. With future speed and agility training by a 2 time Olympian, and our very own sports psychologist, there is no other facility in the area that can offer that.”
